MY PASSION BEGAN
When I started teaching childbirth education classes, I didn’t set out to be a sought-after childbirth instructor. I was just making a little extra money for my family. But then something amazing happened, people LOVED my classes and I LOVED helping people learn! I found my passion!
Comment after comment about how much they learned, how they weren’t expecting to learn so much. I even had one expecting father tell me he had two master’s degrees and thought my class was better than any class he had taken in his entire college career.
MY ADVANTAGE
What was different? I realized, I had something other instructors didn’t have… the inside advantage. I KNEW EVERYTHING about labor and delivery. Some instructors have only witnessed one or two deliveries, but I have held hands, coached and supported literally thousands of women.
The even bigger advantage I have is that I have seen all of the UNEXPECTED scenarios too! I understand the interventions used, and why they are used.
Over 10,000 expectant parents later, I decided, why limit my knowledge to the DC area, let me expand my reach through online prenatal classes! I hope you will join me! I can’t wait to share my extensive knowledge with you and empower you for the most positive birth experience!

My Vision
PREPARED FOR EVERY PATHWAY
My vision is to help expectant parents all over the world become empowered during labor, no matter how they plan to labor or deliver, with or without pain medication, vaginal or c-section. I want to create parents who know what to expect and what questions to ask when different scenarios arise. I want to help expectant parents partake in and make educated decisions when decisions need to be made. I want to help create your support team who will truly prepare and support you during labor, birth and during the postpartum period.
